M.C. Escher Hands

Wake students up with M.C. Escher’s upside down world of basements in the ceiling while teaching them the elements and principles of design.

This is a introduction to new vocabulary: Implied Line, Positive vs. Negative Space. Great start-of-the-year project for Art I or Drawing classes. Students love doing this project because the imagery reflects their story, which helps you get to know your students much faster and opens great dialogues.
