Drawing Lesson: Self-Portrait in Pencil

This lesson focuses on composition, drawing a face in proper proportion, blending values in pencil, and then using the elements and principles of design in an unrealistic way in the hair. Worksheets included: How to draw an eye in pencil, Different techniques on how to render value, How to render value in pencil, and Facial Proportions. I had a lot of success with this lesson, even at the Art I level.
